Acquainting New Staff with the Classroom. New teachers or employees may enter the profession with limited knowledge of what is required to understand the needs of the classroom. Design a professional development session or an in-service training session within the context of your work setting for new employees that will acquaint them with the knowledge required to better understand the needs of the classroom. If you are not a teacher, you may design a new employee training session for your workplace. This session will be two hours in length. In your design, include the following:

1. Learner profile and context of the learning environment
2. Objective of the training
3. Procedures or processes (how you will design the training)
4. Complete description of the strategies in your training session
